Still I Rise
The mighty words of one, wise, Maya Angelou. She, to me, is a woman of grace, class and great intellect. Her words are inspiration to live by, to give by, not just get by, but rise. Rise with wind under wings, rise like the voice of the caged bird who sings of freedom when it rings through oppressive bars, shattering metaphorical walls and hyperbolic constraints of the mind which through time taints the efforts of hope. The birth of a dream is the belief in a vision as knowledge is the birth of wisdom. And we do fall down but we get up, and rise! Insisting on persistence knowing the difference in relation to rising and falling of which there is a correlation. I WILL personify my WILL to be, and rise to what I WILL, traversing time and transcending adversity, realizing who I have been since the beginning of days…Although 2010 hasn’t been good to me…still I RISE!
