I hear it all the time, “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder” and sometimes it holds truth because there are some people that I would much rather spend a day looking at their ass than spend a second looking at their face. A while back, I was dating this beautiful shawty (she hates when I call her that) from the East side and she was all that… she was beautiful (love how she rocked that jersey lol), intelligent and extremely thoughtful. Unfortunately, she had to part ways. I wrote this piece for the book but it didn’t make the cut so I am sharing it with you guys. Enjoy!
Beauty is something that my girl has always held, the kind of beauty that shines off of abalone shells. She surfaces with beauty and is filled deep as well, from the glistening in her beautiful eyes to her lovely scented smell. Her smile is radiant like a shining star, and her voice hits the soft notes played from a guitar (Karaoke night was fun). Her beautiful heart is more loving than a hundred mothers, I appreciate her beauty as her eternal lover. If you’ve ever seen a rainbow spread out over a hill, that’s the type of beauty showing when she stands still. If you’ve ever seen a beautiful butterfly fluttering over a field, when she moves that’s the beauty she yields. When I sit back and look into her deep brown eyes, I compare it to getting a gift and feeling the surprise. Every morning I wake to the evening I rest, god gave me this wonderful gift so I always feel blessed. Thanks to all for this beauty in my world, thank you god for making her my girl.
